The Annual Parish Meeting is usually held in May of each year (but must be between 1 March and 1 June) with the Chairman presiding. The Chairman will deliver his annual report and then open the floor to members of the public who are invited to discuss Parish affairs. After the close of the official Meeting, a guest speaker is generally present and light refreshments are provided.
At the Annual Parish Council Meeting (usually held a week after the Annual Parish Meeting), the Chairman for the forthcoming year is appointed and the remainder of the meeting is conducted in the same manner as a regular meeting.
